The News Journal has done a pretty good job of exposing the dearth of nightmares at the Delaware Psychiatric Center (DPC).
It is incumbent of the Governor to do three things;
1. Accomplish a no holds barred investigation-Federal or State to be concluded by 1 October 2007.
2. Develop better options to deliver value to taxpayers and health care to patients, these options should include contracting a private hospital to treat patients.
3. Based on the results of the investigation make the needed leadership changes within the appropriate agencies.
